For the information of those who did not attend today's annual luncheon, please be advised that I am no longer the Vice-President of the Catskill Fire-Cats. For reasons upon which I can only speculate, I was ousted from my position by a vote of 20-12. And, since I no longer am the "V.P.", it doesn't make much sense to continue using the "Veep" moniker here, since that's whas it was slang for in the first place. So, for the purpose of continuing to post here, which seemed to be a concern to at least one individual today, I will be known from now on simply as "The Fire-Cat".
As for the rest of the election, President Bruce Zarzeski, Secretary Ingrid Mancino, and Treasurer Bob Reynolds all ran unopposed, and were successfully re-elected to their respective positions. The new Vice-President is Jim Gray. Congratulations to all. I hope you will serve the 'Cats well.
In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy Holiday season, and a safe, happy, healthy and (hopefully) prosperous New Year.
